Boaglio identifies as a "StoryArtDesigner", a title which reflects her innate ability to take a raw material and transform it The birth of the MARZIA BOAGLIO studio is the result of a long artistic, stylistic and professional growth, matured within a culture that inherits the unique values and knowledge of Made in Italy. This allowed me to understand how to combine design innovation with the tradition of know-how, typical of local crafts.
The study of the elements, the exploration of their characteristics and complexity, the search for quality, have allowed me to get more in touch with the material and be able to better express its substance.
My goal is to create art objects that combine thought and matter. To join the physical, sensory plane with the more ideal one.
I have an emotional connection with the objects I create. Each is a story that recalls the past while remaining contemporary, becoming a timeless element.
Infact an object designed by Marzia Boaglio wants to be an emotion that furnishes one's living spaces.
I aim to go beyond the concept linked to the traditional Italian design studio, placing a strong emphasis on environmentally friendly projects that involve the highest local craftsmanship.
Starting the long and complex path of integrating ethics and art into the value chain by working on responsible innovation is not only desirable but necessary today
MARZIA BOAGLIO is a design studio in which, the philosophy behind every projects, is the need to tell a story that is striking for its meaning and can go beyond the pure beauty of works. Guided by a strong interest in innovation, in each project I seek the perfect combination of raw material and expression, interpreting and merging with the customer's tastes and personal needs.
